dg.o 2003 continues the series of national conferences on Digital Government. It brings together top people from government agencies, e-commerce, the software industry, academic research environments, and members of the public, with the aim of making online government systems available to citizens.

Sessions will address vital technical, social, and economic issues in digital government:
€ Homeland security
€ Privacy and security
€ Digital Governance
€ Commercial and economic incentives for Digital Government
€ Government and social policy
€ Data integration and statistics
€ Useful and user-friendly interfaces
€ Multimedia presentations and human-computer interaction
€ Delivery of geospatial, textual, audiovisual, statistical, and other information
€ Technology transfer
€ Delivery of public surveys and data gathering
€ Cooperation among federal, state, and local government agencies

The conference will take place in late May 2003 on the eastern Seaboard. The conference will include keynote addresses; panel discussions on key issues, system demonstrations of new online technologies; case studies; research presentations; poster sessions; Birds-of-a-Feather roundtables; and a session for students.
