What is digital government?
Digital Government, also referred to as E-Government, is the application of Information and Communication Technologies for public sector modernization. It fosters the use of information technology to support and improve public policies and government operations, engage and empower citizens, and provide comprehensive and timely government services that are more client oriented.
In addition to its technological components, successful implementation of digital government requires a complimentary adjustment of government processes.
