Researchers Collaborating on Unifying BDEI Data:
A DG planning grant is supporting research into ways to unify the vast array of BDEI data into a common system that could help solve critical problems of global warming and loss of biodiversity.

New DG Database Features Enhanced Depth, Searchability:
The dg.o communications staff has revamped the database search tools at DigitalGovernment.org to improve the quality and searchability of data available on Digital Government projects, researchers and institutions.

Researchers can now add "government domain" and "technology" criteria to their personal and project profiles, allowing others to browse the database or search on those criteria.

In addition, site visitors now can search all projects, or narrow search to focus only on current projects or on past projects. And we have added Boolean search capabilities to the database keyword search.

PUBLICATIONS OF INTEREST:

A new report on authentication technologies and their implications will be discussed at a public seminar beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, April 11. During the two-hour event, held by the National Academies' Computer Science and Telecommunications Board, committee members will discuss "Who Goes There? Authentication Through the Lens of Privacy." The seminar takes place in the Lecture Room of the National Academy of Sciences building, 2100 C St. N.W., Washington, D.C.
